![]() ![]() Now I'm not talking about removing all cover from capture zones as that'd be madness and if anything unfair to the light/medium tanks. ![]() I guess I'll cover my team mates whilst they're completely blocked from my line of sight. Italy is a prime example as to what is wrong with the map design right now, wide open fields that are perfect for sniping, except all of the zones are smothered in buildings. It has to give up the capture zone before there's any chance of even shooting the enemy tank. Take the capture points for example, all of them are protected by large buildings that a sniping tank cannot defend as the enemy tank waddles up to them hiding behind the buildings and then captures the point completely risk free as the defending tank's sightline is completely blocked off unless it throws away all of its advantages and rushes to the zone itself. ![]() Stupidly designed or placed obstacles making heavy tanks obsolete. This may be great fun for a light tank but for a heavy long range slugger these are awful and the thing that annoys me is that there's a nasty trend growing with each of Gaijins maps maybe starting with the Ardennes map. There are no real ambush/sniping positions but tons of areas where you can be shot from all different angles. Now these maps are pants anyways as they're all inspired by Call of Duty I could almost swear it, no long sightlines nor any actual meaningful cover just obstacles in the way of where you may want to go that force tanks into these close quarters style battles. Nothing but American Desert, Finland, Sweden and the Chernobyl looking map with the apartments on one side and the field/road on the other. I had a couple of hours with the Wonkeror last night hoping to maybe get a couple of games at "Fire Arc" or even "Eastern Europe" but nope. These maps (later tiers) are absolutely crap for anything that isn't a fast reloading medium/light tank. One map posted by Church of GTA includes some speculative roads and borders, as well as the more concrete details taken from the leaks.Hello ladies, gentlemen and possibly camel. ![]() Other projects hosted outside the forums have more complete maps in the works, including mini-map segments taken from the leaked footage. It's slow going, with much of the main GTA Forums discussion working out how to most accurately map the leaked content without including images that can't be posted in the community. With much of the leaked footage displaying in-game coordinates, fans have created bare-bones maps picturing where each location sits in relation to the rest of them. This time, the map is being created from the leaked footage, with fans often getting creative in order to get around Rockstar's copyright restrictions. The project is reminiscent of a fan-made GTA V map created by GTA Forum users, who used the game's promotional footage and screenshots to get an early view of Los Santos. As reported by Kotaku, this includes a number of map-building efforts, with players using the leaked footage to put together an early estimation of GTA 6's huge open world. As Rockstar gets on top of this week's massive GTA 6 leak with sweeping copyright takedowns, fans are working to piece together their own resources from the early footage. ![]()

![]() ![]() They do however have one of the best handicap swings I’ve seen. ![]() This park is truly a blast the only negative aspect is if you have to push your kids on the swings the slope makes it difficult. This park is also conveniently across from the Newberg Library and next to the Chehalem Cultural Center which has art, culture and music classes for both adults and kids. Older kids will love the KOMPAN Spacenet Climber (like the one at Tualatin Community Park) as well as the rock climbing structures I’ve already mentioned. There is simply so much fun contained in that one structure alone. There are drums, a spinning continent wheel, solar panel, chime panel, bell panel, car racing panel and cool talk tubes. For instance, one of the play structures that is suited for 2-5 year-olds has some of the coolest panels I have ever seen. Although Barrow’s Park may be closer to you, I think Rotary Centennial Park is worth driving out to Newberg because it uniquely incorporates a variety of different structures from various companies which brings greater creativity. The park also has other creative accessories such as a cement camel, dog and frog that your kids can climb on or pretend to have as a pet just like Barrow’s Park. It is awesome and I haven’t seen any thing like it at any local playground. The park specifically has a very unique rock climbing structures from Rockcraft. There are plenty of benches and tables to sit and this park is truly one your kids will remember for a lifetime. The only down side to this park is some of the structures are a bit aged and the tables next to the sand could definitely be remodeled or updated for a fun game of checkers. Besides all the fun I’ve listed there are also water fountains. There is plenty of open space if you have bigger kids who would like to play soccer, or there is also a skate park off in the distance. Since this sandpit is so big and well designed it even has a digger in which kids can dig and move sand. I do advise you to inform you children to be careful because I’ve seen kids run up and down, and get hurt because there is sand on the red hill/volcano. It is similar to the red hills at Murase except without the big slide and the small hill is surrounded by sand. ![]() There is also a fun glider and the sand pit is phenomenal! In the middle of the sand pit is a little mountain in which my kids call the volcano. I hope they put it back because it is a unique feature. Last summer there was a fun stand up tetter-totter, but currently it is out. The main structure consists of what I would call a playground castle, with 3 large twisty tube slides, a regular swoosh slide, an awesome fun spinner one can sit on, cool climbers that I haven’t seen at other parks, fun panels in which kids can learn about space or play tic toe and so much more. Plus there is also a cool train and make-believe house from Miracle, a Play Power company. Landscape Structure has a fun and rare log roll. In addition, KOMPAN has their amazing supernova along with some structures for children ages 2-5 years old. One thing I particulallry like is the big boulder because it is the largest rock climbing wall I’ve seen at an outside playground. Plus there are plenty of coffee shops along the way!ĭiscovery Meadows is one of my kids favorite parks mainly because it is big! It has such a variety of play structures because so many manufactures are represented like KOMPAN, Landscape Structures and Play Power, Inc. Between Discovery Meadows, City Park, and the Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum your kids will be amazed at your super power park knowledge! Northrop pursued the requirement along the lines of its flying wing approached and developed the aforementioned N-9M as a starting point - this vehicle mimicking the form and function of what was to become a dimensionally larger future bomber. The primary players involved became Boeing, Consolidated and Northrop (the request was eventually fulfilled by the Convair B-36 "Peacemaker" in the post-World War 2 years). The formal request originated in April of 1941. Authorities sought an aircraft with a minimum range out to 10,000 miles hauling a war load of 10,000 pounds and reaching speeds of 450 miles per operating at altitudes up to 45,000 feet. The major problem facing engineers was in the inherent instability of flying wings due to the technology made available at the time.ĭuring the war years, the United States Army Air Corps (USAAC) sought to develop a long-range strategic bombing platform that could range from Allied-controlled bases outside of Europe and Britain in the event that the British Isles would someday fall to a German invasion - leaving few viable airbases for the Allies to continue warfare against the Nazi regime. Lacking vertical tail fins, there was also less drag encountered and the wide-area wings aided in natural lifting tendencies which reduced fuel consumption. The flying wing offered several key qualities that conventionally-arranged aircraft did not - more internal space meant more volume for fuel, increasing operational ranges, and there would be more storage room for internally-held ordnance. All of this work paved the way for something grander still to come - the XB-35/YB-35 flying wing strategic bomber. Jack Northrop, founder of Northrop, had been playing with the concept of flying wings during the 1930s and 1940s and eventually produced the N-1M and N-9M designs while the proposed XP-79 fell to naught. The remains of the project fell to the to the Americans in the immediate post-war period and ended its days in museum storage. However only three of the type were completed after a first flight on March 1st, 1944. The most famous of these wartime models became the German Horten Ho 229 (detailed elsewhere on this site) which utilized an early form of stealth and was jet-powered to boot. really lets it rev.The concept of the flying wing bomber had been on the minds of aeronautical engineers for quite some time before the forms of World War 2 (1939-1945) had made their presence known. The latest version of the Opera browser sends multiple invalid requests to our servers for every page you visit. The most common causes of this issue are: Pull both ends of your twine tight, then trim the ends of the twine.Your IP address has been temporarily blocked due to a large number of HTTP requests. Take the end of your twine furthest from the end of your rope (in this example, the left side) and pass it through the loop. Keep whipping until the width of your wrap is roughly the diameter of your rope. As you wrap, you’ll overlap the ends of your twine, binding them to the rope. Grab the side of the loop closest to the end of the rope (the right side, in this example) and start wrapping it tightly around the frayed ends. For this example, I’m using about two feet of twine to whip this half-inch rope. Having extra is much easier to deal with than not having enough. The length of your whipping material will depend on how thick your rope is. The ends of the loop should point in opposite directions. Hold your frayed rope in one hand and make a loop with your whipping material in the other hand. Take extra caution when fusing thicker rope, which will take longer to cool. Avoid touching the end of the fused rope or working with it for at least a few minutes. Once all the frayed ends are fused together, allow the rope to cool for at least 30 seconds before you set it down. You’ll see them start to melt and fuse together. Hold the lighter sideways so your hand is not directly beneath the rope and pass the flame back and forth across the frayed ends. Grab your frayed rope in one hand and a lighter in the other. Basically, if it’s thin, strong cordage, you can whip rope with it. To whip rope, you can use twine, string, even dental floss. Fusing is used for ropes made from synthetic fibers, and whipping is used for natural fiber ropes. That’s where fusing and whipping rope comes in.įusing and whipping rope are two different methods to bind the end of a frayed rope. Like a loose string on your favorite sweater, rope that begins to unravel will continue to do so unless it’s bound back together somehow. You Have to Burn the Rope is a Action Game you can play online for free in full screen at KBH Games. Frayed rope is hard to work with and degrades faster. When rope is cut or breaks, all those fibers that were so tightly woven together are let loose and run wild. ![]() It’s easy to forget that rope is a tool like all tools, it needs to be properly maintained in order to properly function. ![]() |
